Hi there, I'm Stig Rune

I'm an enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer with a strong focus on writing clean, maintainable code and designing robust, well-architected systems. I love to explore new areas within software engineering and I am quick to adopt new technologies into my skill set.

I have 15 years of professional experience, primarily within the .NET ecosystem. But I enjoy working with other programming languages as well. I have experience with various stacks through both professional work and hobby projects, and I enjoy exploring new tech to find the right tool for the job.

I began my career as a full-stack developer, gradually transitioning toward a backend specialization. I was selected for leadership responsibilities early, including mentoring and training team members, collaborating closely with product management, and contributing to architectural design and decision-making.

In my role as Tech Lead, I have always also remained a hands-on developer. Staying operational allows me to drive the quality and long-term reliability of the system. I love coding and the craftsmanship. Working side-by-side with the team is also key to being a good mentor. I enjoy taking end-to-end ownership, from initial concept through development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
